Information We Collect

We do not collect your files. You do not need to create accounts, provide emails, or register profiles to operate our standard file editors. We never host databases to archive user uploaded media, because we never receive user files in the first place.

Local Processing

PDFscaler processes your private documents and photos locally inside your web browser.

• Document Editors: Splitting, merging, rotating, numbering, and converting PDF documents run securely inside browser tab memory via local JavaScript rendering.
• Photo Engines: Background removals, blurring, crops, and JPEG compressions are drawn locally onto HTML5 Canvas elements.
• Mathematical Converters: All financial and age computations calculate instantaneously via clientside code libraries.

Cookies and Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage variables to save your visual workspace settings (like remembering Dark Mode) and track cookie banner acceptance.

We also partner with third-party networks, specifically Google AdSense, which may utilize double-click cookies to serve non-intrusive advertisements on our domain. You can adjust your browser cookie profiles to completely disable cookie tracking at any time without blocking any tool functionality.

Third-party Services

For advanced utilities requiring complex optical model calculations (specifically our Image to Text OCR and Image Translator), files are sent securely over TLS-encrypted secure pipelines to Google Gemini APIs. The proxy server operates in volatile memory (RAM) and discards the image binaries instantly once text values are extracted. No logs are cached, and files are never stored or analyzed.

Data Security

Since data never compiles on foreign servers, there are zero server data-breach threats. The moment you navigate away or close your browser tab, all related file memory buffers are permanently discarded by your operating system.
